Modulated Histories
The exhibition Modulated Histories is a follow-up to the collaboration between the National Museum of Contemporary Art and the Laborator artistic [Artistic Laboratory] platform, developed by students from the National University of Arts in Bucharest during the Covid lockdown in the spring of 2020. The collaboration began as an online project, titled 鈥淯NArte Student Day at MNAC鈥.
The current project of 鈥渕odulated histories鈥 invited young artists, students at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, to explore and ponder upon the works presented in the exhibition of the MNAC Collection, 鈥淪eeing History 鈥 1947-2007鈥, located on the first floor of the museum.
Artistic Laboratory
At the dawn of quarantine days, amidst a tornado of opinions, emotions, and uncertainties, the UNArte - National University of Arts students gathered spontaneously in a virtual collective project.
The works they created during the quarantine were stored in a private social media group that gathered an active community.
The exhibition can be visited on the 4th floor of the museum, in the Dialogue MNAC caf茅 exhibition space.
