The garden drawings created by these ninth graders were then taken back to the school鈥檚 studio, where the students further developed them into finished drawings in a realistic and recognizable manner. Students then selected one or two of the art elements (line, shape, form, space, value, color, texture) to emphasize in a three part drawing progression - moving from realism to abstraction - resulting in beautifully diverse renditions of the natural environment.
