Nikos Aslanidis: Deep Breath
Nikos ASLANIDIS, an active artist in European contemporary art world, will have his very first solo exhibition in September at Aki Gallery. Art works of Nikos possess a unique mysterious quality and are surrounded by an air of melancholy. In order to convey this extraordinary atmosphere, the gallery will host the opening at night; the artist will also be in presence at the opening. Nikos grew up in Greece, a place surrounded by sunshine and romantic atmosphere. However, the paintings created by him show an opposite tone of color. His paintings are shrouded with gloomy treacherous veil, glowing with a flow of mystery. Being superb at portraits, Nikos doesn鈥檛 limit himself within it but keep painting on broader categories.
