Novalis Terra
Roubaix welcomes Quebec! This year, the city of Roubaix is joining forces with the General Delegation of Quebec in Paris to give local people the chance to discover the culture of Quebec in all its diversity: circus, dance, street art, crafts, design, music, literature. This time, the La Piscine museum is presenting鈥
The NOVALIS TERRA exhibition, exploring the expressive vision, open to the imaginary world that evokes the lofty aims of artists from Quebec whose art is rooted in that of ceramic expression. As a result, this exhibition explores the aspect of ceramics that evokes a culture and discipline that have come to maturity through the force of the individuality and the aims and technical skills of the artists. NOVALIS TERRA showcases innovative genres and trends, like the diverse artistic approaches of three creators who coexist within the same discipline and the same space. The exhibition thus brings together the flagship elements of contemporary ceramics in Quebec to create links between the artists Laurent Craste, Pascale Girardin and Am茅lie Proulx, and to celebrate a unique present rich in new aesthetic experiences.
