ONLINE: Recognizing Artist Soldiers in the Permanent Collection

Every summer, the Georgia Museum of Art participates in the National Endowment for the Arts鈥� Blue Star Museums program, which offers free museum admission to military families from Memorial Day to Labor Day. We created this online exhibition focusing on artists who served in the military in 2020, during our pandemic-related closure. We鈥檙e back open now, but the exhibition lives on and has been updated with some new artists. It鈥檚 organized chronologically and moves beyond the United States.
