Patrick Scott is an Irish artist of international stature, who has devoted himself to an artistic career since 1960 when he won the Guggenheim Award and represented Ireland in the XXX Venice Biennale. This exhibition of exquisite works on paper, M茅ditations, is Scott鈥檚 first in France. Characteristic of his style, in their abstract minimalism and use of gold and palladium leaf, the works revisit many of the contemplative themes explored by the artist over the last fifty years. A founding member of Aosd谩na, Scott was conferred with the title of Saoi in 2007, the highest honour that can be bestowed upon an Irish artist.
