Perspectives + Perceptions
Perspective is our point of view. It is the lens we see the world through and determines how we view ourselves, others and everything around us. Perception is what we interpret, and is our understanding of a given situation, person or object. It is the meaning we assign to any given stimulus. Because we grow, change and have new experiences, so do our perspectives and perceptions of sometimes even the most familiar subjects.
Each of the Artists in this show are examining subjects from their every-day lives, recomposing and reconsidering them in new ways.
