Monaghan鈥檚 innovative 3D relief work have won numerous awards and he has exhibited internationally, with exhibitions in London, New York, Miami and Hong Kong. Monaghan's work will also feature in an upcoming Netflix documentary.
Influenced by Op artists like Bridget Riley and Victor Vaserely, Monaghan's work aims to engage the viewer by creating dialogue between light, colour, movement and illusion; exploring the relationships and contrasts between painted flat surfaces, protruding spheres and geometric shapes.
