School of Visual Arts (SVA) presents 鈥淩e-sourced,鈥� a group exhibition of sculpture, photography and mixed media artwork by four artists and alumni of SVA鈥檚 Artist Residency programs, curated by program coordinator Rachel Gisea Cohen. The exhibition will be on view from Thursday, June 2 through Thursday, June 9, 2022 at SVA Flatiron Gallery and Flatiron Windows, 133/141 West 21st Street, New York City.
鈥淩e-sourced鈥� features artworks by Sandra Erbacher, Dev Harlan, Nancy Krakaur and Teri Gandy-Richardson. Each artist in the exhibition utilizes found objects or images as a central component or source of their art-making process. Recontextualizing the nature of the objects and images they use, these artists implement a variety of processes and interventions to breathe new life and meaning into their materials.
