Recollection
The Outsiders Newcastle are proud to present an Autumn showcase of artworks on loan from a private collection amassed over the past ten years. Whilst the exhibition focuses predominantly on works created by artists from the Lazarides stable, it also includes others from the same genre, many of which have never before been seen in public.
Large canvases in oil and charcoal by Antony Micallef feature heavily in the collection, alongside original works of art by street art superstars Banksy, Vhils, FAILE, Revok, BORF aka John Tsombikos, Jose Parla, µþä²õ³Ù, and David Choe, coupled with contemporary urban works by Marcus Jansen, Miaz Brothers, Jonathan Yeo, Mode 2, Cyclops, Antonio Diaz, and Ben Turnbull.
Situated directly opposite the Baltic, The Outsiders Newcastle is one of the premier galleries exhibiting the urban genre and new contemporary painting worldwide. With its impressive inventory, Recollection solidifies the galleryʼs reputation as a major international source of established and emerging art.
