Lois Lambert Gallery presents Reflections on Our Warming Planet, a multidisciplinary group exhibition, in which artists, scientists, filmmakers and community activists come together to celebrate the natural world, while calling attention to the climate crisis. This exhibition includes painting, drawing, sculpture and photography, as well as short films and documentary interviews.

Reflections on Our Warming Planet is the most broad-ranging exhibition about climate change to date in Southern California. Twenty-four artists join with scientists and community activists to make the public more aware of environmental challenges we face now and in the future, combining the visual arts with short films and interviews.

One of the video interviews features Professor Alex Hall, the Director of UCLA Center for Climate Science, another Kim Abeles, a multidisciplinary Los Angeles artist, as well as Ron Finley, a community activist and 鈥済angsta鈥� gardener.

These artists come together to visualize their thoughts about the severity of climate change through their various disciplines. The outcome is an expression of anger, dismay, fear, dread, and hope. This is combined with the love of nature and a shared belief that we can meet the challenges we face.
