Rob Tucker who lives and works in Auckland, New Zealand, is known for his distinct renderings of figurative still-lifes and landscapes executed through geometric shapes, simplified forms and a playful palette. Referencing mid-century modern design, Tucker鈥檚 nostalgic work is reminiscent of David Hockney鈥檚 era of pop-art and abstraction. Oversized, textural and graphic, Tucker's work is an exploration of colour and composition.
