Rosalind Bloom: Won鈥檛 You Be My Neighbor?
Won鈥檛 You Be My Neighbor? is a solo exhibition of mixed media paintings by DVAA member, Rosalind Bloom. Her exhibition highlights the history of racism as it relates to the building of communities in Philadelphia. Through this exhibition, viewers are invited to think about how the issues surrounding housing equity have changed and been reframed over the years.
Won鈥檛 You Be My Neighbor will be on view in Gallery 2 at Da Vinci Art Alliance starting May 2 until March 19. The opening reception will take place on Saturday, May 4, from 4-7 pm.
