Spring 2023 Glass Studio Assistantship Exhibition
A group of four artists, both locally based and from as far away as Turkey, came together in January to form the twenty-eighth class of Glass Studio Assistants. During the Assistantship program at the Perry Glass Studio, the cohort gained professional experience in a museum setting, continued to develop their own artistic voice as emerging artists in glass, and forged important bonds and connections with each other and the museum community. This group exhibition is the culmination of their individual artistic pursuits from the last six months and represents myriad ways of working with the magical material of glass.
