The exhibition title comes through the process of planning
the exhibition as a cohort, encapsulating themes of construction, transient
notions of identity, and social practice and custom. The individual bodies of
research form a cohesive whole, one that manifests in the conversation created
between the works. The notion of strange pursuit is both metaphorical and
continuously pragmatic.
