Susan Lea Hackett: Un Rincon del Paraiso
Susan shares her artwork inspired by her recent trip to the ancient city of Ciudad del Ma铆z, in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosi, in Ciudad del Mais, an ancient colonial town in the high desert, Susan worked on a mosaic mural project designed and executed by Mexican artist Marisa Martinez at the middle school, and then spent three days in the tropical mountains of La Huasteca, wandering through an eighty acre surrealist sculpture garden, created in the 1950鈥檚 by the English poet James Edwards. Susan鈥檚 work includes watercolor and pastel paintings, drawings, textiles, photographs and mixed media collage.
