Together but Separately

Jun 20, 2020 - Jul 04, 2020

It is three months ago since most of the world shut down and we now feel it is responsible to reopen Gallery Poulsen to the public and indeed we look forward to seeing collectors and friends for a bang of a vernissage on June 20th, with respect to the guidelines from the health authorities.

The last three months have been an upheaval with isolation for many - but to a lesser extent for the artists, who have continued their work the way they usually do. We have continuously displayed the diverse and impressive works that Gallery Poulsen's artists have created during this international lock-down on our online channels and are now proud to finally be able to show the works live to Gallery Poulsen's friends and collectors for a short period of time up to 4th of July.

After the summer break, we are back in full force with Angela Gram's solo exhibition "Transfigured Night" which opens on August 15th.

We are grateful for the incredible cohesiveness our artists have shown us and each other during this lock-down period, by sharing each other's works online and spreading the message and inviting us into the Holy of Holies: their studios. Gallery Poulsen and our artists have come together both artistically and digitally, as has Alexandre Dumas' famous novel about the three musketeers, "One for All, All for One!"

The wait has been long, but we guarantee you, the exhibition has been worth the wait.

This international lock-down period has largely shown that nobody is anything without each other.
