Hong Kong Arts Centre presents 2014 flagship exhibition titled 鈥淯nseen Existence: Dialogues with the Environment in Contemporary Art鈥. Working with renowned Taiwanese curator Rudy Tseng, the show will be divided into subsidiary themes: 鈥淓nergy as Inspiration鈥 where artists directly incorporate modes, manifestations or apparati of energy into their compositions, 鈥淭races of Ruins鈥 where artists visually capture the degradation of our earth and the aftermath of its undue exploitation, 鈥淐aring for the Environment鈥 where artists employ various methods and media to express their care and concern for the sustainability or restoration of our land, and at last 鈥淣ew Findings鈥, which will be a selection of artworks that harbour a more innovative connection to our ecological ruminations and might even inspire new ways of thinking about the planet in which we live.
