From September 12th to 15th, 2024, Brussels kicks off the new gallery season with the inaugural edition of RendezVous 鈥� Brussels Art Week, a new initiative by Laure Decock and Evelyn Simons that aims to unite the diverse players in the city鈥檚 contemporary art scene.
From the 12th to the 15th of September 2024, Rendez-Vous will take centre stage, replacing the Brussels Gallery Weekend, which recently announced its cancellation after 16 years.
This new series of works arises from a longstanding preoccupation of the artist; the material relation of photography and cinema.
Magali Reus鈥檚 鈥淗OTELS鈥� gathered fourteen works, all made in 2024, from three series鈥斺�淐lementine,鈥� 2023鈥�24, 鈥淢erlin,鈥� 2024, and 鈥淔oundations,鈥� 2024鈥攃onceived during her 2023 residency at the rural Atelier Calder in Sach茅, France.
