Exactly 50 years after his disappearance at sea, the Hamburger Kunsthalle is mounting a retrospective exhibition of the fascinating work of Dutch artist Bas Jan Ader (1942鈥�1975).

The Hamburger Kunsthalle, together with the Stiftung Hamburger Kunstsammlungen and the Campe鈥檚che Historische Kunststiftung acquired the painting Le Palais de Rideaux by Ren茅 Magritte.
