Art historian and critic David Lewis has announced that he is closing his eponymous gallery following eleven years in business and the presentation of eighty exhibitions. 

The fair鈥檚 organisers have partnered with organisations across the city while New York dealers have a major presence.

At this year鈥檚 show, I reflected on the lack of bilingual materials, the absurdity of art-fair gimmick, and the workers who make it all possible.

For each work sold, 15% will go to a charity or institution of the artist鈥檚 choice鈥攂ut will the new sales format ruffle dealers鈥� feathers?

Each summer, New Yorkers depart the city for the Hamptons, heading there for beaches, drinking, and ritzy dining.

Frieze Los Angeles will return next spring after a year off due to COVID.

The 2021 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach 鈥� Art Basel鈥檚 first in-person fair in the United States since 2019 鈥� brought together 253 leading international galleries from 36 countries and territories, presenting the highest quality of artworks across all media.

Due to Covid-19, Germany is back in lockdown, albeit a 鈥渓ockdown light.鈥� As of November 2nd, museums, cultural centers and project spaces are closed, while galleries remain open.

Frieze London which closed on Sunday 8th October has brought together more than 160 galleries from 31 countries and driven strong sales across the fair and throughout the week.
