Geng Yini Geng Yini (b.1982, Shenyang, China) received a Bachelor's degree from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, China in 2005 and a Masters degree in 2012. Geng Yini’s every painting depicts a theater, usually in a public space or private space as a background. Taking personal experience as a starting point, she combines daily images in an absurd way to reset the narrative.
