Johannes Lechner, known as 鈥淟ejo鈥�, was born in 1964 in Vorau, Austria. Already in the early 90s, Lejo bought single photographs or whole albums from estates, from which he was artistically inspired. In 2007, he began to cut up, tear apart, and combine these souvenirs and make collages out of them. His works are exhibited both nationally and internationally and can be found in private collections. Since the early 90s, the artist has been working with closed window blinds, loud music and bright light in his work room, located in Vienna鈥檚 18th district.
