Numerous key galleries and museums such as Liang Gallery have featured Yu Cheng-Yao's work in the past.Yu Cheng-Yao's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 1,571 USD to 36,835 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 2019 the record price for this artist at auction is 36,835 USD for Precipitous Mountain, sold at Ravenel, Taipei in 2021. The artist died in 1993.
