Special production 1988 for a private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia - German sculptor. Trained at the Hochschule f. Bildende K眉nste Hamburg under E. Scharff and at the Stuttgart Academy under O. Baum, 1954-1964 he stayed in Paris. Since 1955 he worked as a freelance artist in Hamburg in his studio at Lerchenfeld, 1974 he moved to Sagau-Kassedorf near Eutin, since 1964 he had another studio in Carrara. - Schumann created sculptures and wall designs, his preferred material was marble.
