6-Woman Alliance: Personal Journeys
6-Woman Alliance (6-WA) is six artists who originally met exhibiting regularly at Beach Creative Community Arts Hub in Herne Bay, Kent from 2018 onwards in exhibitions House: Paradox, House-Xodarap, Each for Equal, Nostalgia Paradox and House-Bound. Initially we shared a passion for exploring our personal experiences and beliefs around the wider, less conventional issues of 鈥榟ouse, home and domesticity鈥�.
We use multimedia to explore contemporary, and sometimes political and social issues in painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, photography, installation and found objects. Surreal and psychological concepts are part of our work, which is often ironically humorous.
