Banners, Valuable Conversations
The Museum of Byzantine Culture and the Italian Educational Institute of Athens invite you to the opening of the new exhibition of works by the artist Maria Kombatsiari on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. in the reception area of 鈥嬧�媡he Museum of Byzantine Culture. Titled 'Banners, Precious Conversations', the exhibition refers to a section of works created from gilded ribbons, velvet, gold embroidered details and gems. It is a conversation between contemporary works and objects from the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Byzantine Culture and is presented in room 10 "Byzantium after Byzantium" of the museum.
