Collectors' Reserve: Small Works Exhibition and Sale, 2013

Oct 26, 2013 - Nov 10, 2013

The annual Collectors' Reserve art exhibition and sale celebrates its fourth anniversary this year with the opening of the exhibition on October 26, 2013. This invitational exhibition and art sale, which runs through November 10, 2013, provides opportunities for art collectors to experience and purchase fine works of art created by nationally recognized and emerging artists while raising funds to support Gilcrease Museum's acquisition fund.

The art sale will take place the evening of November 7. Collectors' Reserve will offer works by more than 70 artists sized to fit any home or office. One third of the artwork will fall into the miniature category; the remaining pieces will be small works, no larger than 16" x 20". Seasoned art buyers as well as those just beginning to build a collection will find something special to please their taste.

From expressionism to traditional realism, still life to wildlife, portraiture to landscape, Collectors' Reserve will offer a broad range of style and subject matter. Mediums include watercolor pastel, color pencil, oil, acrylic, bronze castings, stone carvings, glass sculpture, and photography.

The excitement and thrill of taking home a prized art piece is only part of the fun surrounding Collectors' Reserve.  Artists' talks and demonstrations allow our guests to immerse themselves in all aspects of art.
