Esteban Whiteside: Beyond Rage

Our grand opening of our new state-of-the-art gallery will feature the first solo artistic presentation of neo-expressionist and primitivist Esteban Whiteside. Entitled, Beyond Rage, this exhibition explores rage, not as a directive but as a reflection of a satirical volley between political assertions and pop culture musings. Much like our 2023 exhibition entitled, Uncensored, which explored political commentary through the lens of comedy, Whiteside鈥檚 work also offers dark humor. Rather than run from the boiling canopy that hovers overhead, here rage sweetens the bitter edge of our collective contempt for the extractive, imperialistic 鈥� the twisted reality colonialism has cultivated within and outside of ourselves.
