Fabian Knecht: Path of Most Resistance

This is the first solo presentation of the German artist鈥檚 work in Poland. His artistic practice is characterised by anti-authoritarianism and recognition of the leading role that art has in society. He questions existing social norms and relations, as well as patterns of behaviour and perception. In keeping with this stance, the exhibition of Knecht鈥檚 latest works reaches beyond the gallery space. The exhibits are the outcome of the artist鈥檚 periodical visits to Ukraine since 2005. Since the beginning of full-scale onslaught by Russia, the artist has been actively supporting the Ukrainian resistance and volunteering, which is reflected in his artistic activity.
