New York-based artist Ilana Savdie (b.1986, raised in Barranquilla, Colombia) draws on a range of subjects as source material, creating intricately detailed, vibrant paintings in acrylic, oil and beeswax that meditate on corporeal and metaphysical excess.
Savdie will unveil new paintings at White Cube New York, following her solo exhibition, 鈥楻adical Contractions鈥�, at Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, which ran from 14 July to 5 November 2023.
