The retrospective exhibition shows the multifaceted oeuvre of the architect and former professor at the Technical University Eindhoven, Jan Slothouber, who died in Eindhoven last year. He devised a cubist design system for the State Mines, later DSM, between 1950 and 1970, together with William PARS Graatsma. These 鈥楥ubist Constructions鈥� were greatly admired and they were awarded the Sikkens Prize in 1966. In 1970 they represented the Netherlands at the Venice Biennale. Slothouber continued to work on new 鈥榗ubic constructions鈥� up to the end of his life.
