QCC Presents In Solidarity: Queer and Trans Artists for a Free Palestine
On view at SOMArts between June 7鈥�29, Queer Cultural Center (QCC) presents the collaborative mural, In Solidarity: Queer and Trans Artists for a Free Palestine as part of their 27th Annual National Queer Arts Festival. Curators BLOOM Collective and xtal Azul are inviting community members to stand in solidarity with Palestine, as there can be no 鈥渂usiness as usual鈥� during Pride Month while the genocide continues in Gaza.
In Solidarity: Queer and Trans Artists for a Free Palestine affirms that queer and trans liberation are fundamentally intertwined with Palestinian liberation, Indigenous liberation, and global land back movements. This collaborative mural offers space to gather in solidarity and mourning to remember, honor, and call the names of Palestinian martyrs.
