Ben Uri, The London Jewish Museum of Art is proud to present a very special exhibition at Osborne Samuel Gallery from the 8 to 31 January 2010.The unveiling of a lost Chagall adds unexpected drama to a long planned exhibition of some 40 masterworks from the Museum collection as the launch of Ben Uri鈥檚 2010 campaign to find and fund c20,000 sq feet in the heart of Central London where this important public collection belongs.
This exhibition brings outstanding examples by artists such as Auerbach, Bomberg, Chagall, Epstein, Kitaj, and Kossoff together for the first time in Europe and illustrates the museum鈥檚 distinguished past and exciting future.
