Artists featured in this presentation highlight both locally and globally recognized figures, including Sarah Cain, Fiona Connor, Demian Din茅yazhi', Mary Ann Peters, and Carrie Yamaoka, among others.
The recent acquisitions rotations are part of the Henry鈥檚 renewed focus using the entry gallery to celebrate and share the museum鈥檚 growing collection鈥攆rom 178 works of art at the time of the museum鈥檚 founding in 1927 to over 30,000 objects spanning location, time, and medium today. These presentations highlight the Henry鈥檚 ongoing commitment to collecting and sharing artworks by defining artists of our time, including works by women, queer, and BIPOC-identifying artists.
