Together Again
Burrard Arts Foundation presents Together Again, an exhibition and auction in support of BAF alumni artists.
The exhibition features works by 24 of the many exceptional contemporary artists who have been part of BAF鈥檚 exhibitions and programming over the past 8 years, and presents a diversity of media approaches, including painting, photography, collage and sculpture. In collaboration with Heffel Fine Art Auction House, the artworks on display will be auctioned online from August 10 to 24, with the majority of the hammer price going to participating artists.
While many arts organizations host fundraising auctions, Together Again is different in that its primary purpose is to support the participating artists through the sale of their art. This means that the vast majority of the hammer price will be returned to the artist鈥攁 unique and valuable opportunity in a city where the space, time, and financial resources needed to create art can be scarce, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
