Uniting the Ink: The Printing Girls (and Boys)
This year, in 2024, The Printing Girls (TPG) community turns seven. Over the seven years TPG received generous and passionate support from their male counterparts in the printmaking community through many forms; words of support, attending openings, offering workshops, sharing the community on social media as well as being the backbone of the admin team in the form of husbands and partners who work tirelessly to keep the team going, emotionally and financially.
With this reflection in mind, TPG would like to celebrate their seven years by acknowledging their counterparts in this united exhibition, an exhibition of prints made by master-printers, printmakers and artists who have always supported them.
The show intends to display the skills and passion within their printmaking community as a whole 鈥� both the 鈥淕irls鈥� and the 鈥淏oys鈥� in one space. This hopes to reflect the balance and the duality that results in the symmetry between both as professionals and artists.
