Utopia Rambles
Utopia Rambles gathers together forty-four people to respond to the challenge of employing artistic processes to imagine and perform, in real time, in Les Rambles Area, while simultaneously providing material for the continually mutating exhibition at the Santa M貌nica arts centre.
This temporary community launches interventions in the centre鈥檚 immediate physical and social environment, in an exercise of utopian creation and generation of imaginaries embedded in Les Rambles area.
Open to visitors on the second floor of the Santa M貌nica, the Acci贸 space is presented as a workspace that showcases the operating agreements followed throughout the course of the project. These agreements are not governed by the logic of majorities, but rather by the curatorial team鈥檚 capacity to communicate, listen and cooperate.
