Painters and sculptors share the spotlight at Manitou Galleries

SANTA FE * Manitou Galleries features a wide variety of artwork this month. First up is a two-person show for painter Fran Larsen and sculptor Hib Sabin opening June 5 and running through June 18. Larsen is known for her colorful landscapes of New Mexico's high-desert terrain, while Sabin's bronze and wood pieces speak of spirituality, shamanism, and mythology. Later in the month is a two-person show for Harry Greene and Marlene Rose, running June 19-July 2. Greene renders expressionistic architectural landscapes, and Rose combines glass and steel to create works that seem simultaneously ancient and modern.
