Biography
John W. Gear was a British artist who was born in 1806. The maker's first piece to be offered at auction was "Their Majesties King Rheo Rhio and Queen Tamehamalu as they appeared at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane" at ART+OBJECT in 2023. The artist died in 1866.
