In 鈥�+1鈥� we asked our represented artists Deniz Alt, Patrick Cierpka, Jan Davidoff, Marc Jung, Katrin Kampmann, Florian Lechner, Jirka Pfahl, R枚mer + R枚mer, Jukka Rusanen, Sandra Schlipkoeter, Lars Teichmann and Danil Yordanov to select and invite an artist of their choice and to start a dialogue through their works of art. Together with their guests Sascha Boldt, Filip Zorzor, Knopp Ferro, Michal Schmidt, Daniel Mohr, Aaron Scheer, Terry Haggerty, Deborah Wargon, Marianna Uutinen, Anne Jungjohann, Oliver Gr枚ne and Mimi Rumenova, the artists will create new creative universes.
In addition to presenting a great variety of different works, materials and techniques, this exhibition highlights the connections and the differences within each artistic position. The selection of artworks is the result of a passionate discussion within the artist couple and the outcome is an interplay between their artistic points of view and their similarities. The twentyfour artists will occupy with their works both floors of our gallery and initiate a discussion through and about their art.
With '+1', we once again explore the endless possibilities of contemporary art and focus on the personal perspectives of our artists who, by personally choosing their guests, open up on their artistic world.
