In 1978 in a room above Caff猫 Malvina in North Beach, the Museo Italo Americano first opened its doors to the public. In the forty years since, we have built a notable Permanent Collection, thanks to the generosity of many artists, collectors, and friends of the Museo. This exhibit will highlight over forty artists and more than seventy works of art from our Permanent Collection. The Museo Italo Americano is grateful to the Fleishhacker Foundation for helping to make this exhibit possible.
