Alaska Triennial 2025
The 2025 Alaska Triennial invites artists from across the state to share recently created work. This open call reveals not only the depth and breadth of artistic practice in Alaska, but also the mastery of a wide range of mediums 鈥� from intricate beadwork to graphite, encaustic, ceramic, printmaking, woodworking, and textile.
Through a blind selection process, 47 artists were selected from a pool of 222 applicants. Works featured in the 2025 Alaska Triennial invite visitors to see Alaska through the eyes of its artists: a place where people, land, and possibility remain deeply and inextricably connected.
The 2025 Alaska Triennial is juried by Mary Bradshaw, Curator and Director of Visual Arts at the Yukon Arts Centre (Whitehorse, YT, Canada). The 2025 Alaska Triennial has been organized by the Anchorage Museum, under various titles and forms, for more than three decades a s a way to celebrate place through the lens of contemporary art and encourage the creation of new works by Alaska artists in a variety of media.
