Circa 1969: Selections from the Permanent Collection, April 19 鈥� August 11, presents paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and sculpture made between 1968 and 1972 reflecting a transitional time in the Woodstock art scene. Richard Florsheim鈥檚 Combat alludes to the opposition of the Vietnam War, while Mari Lyons鈥檚 1969 depicts the iconic 鈥渉ippie鈥� style 鈥� long hair, vests, bell-bottom pants, loose dresses and bare feet 鈥� trends which became symbolic of the counterculture movement of the 1960s.
