City Heat
On July 19th, 2025, Fremin Gallery is thrilled to unveil our vibrant summer group exhibition, CITY HEAT, bringing together an electrifying roster of contemporary artists: ALEA PINAR DU PRE, ARDAN 脰ZMENO臑LU, Alex Voinea, DIDIER ENGELS, KEVIN KELLY, Lina Condes, LIS SAM, MERCEDES, NEMO, TMU, and Thannyo.
In an exploration of urban rhythm, cultural friction, and visual intensity, CITY HEAT ignites a dynamic conversation between artistic languages from around the globe. From layered mixed media to abstract photography, kinetic color fields to conceptual sculpture, each artist channels the emotion, complexity, and energy of city life in its most sweltering, saturated form.
Turkish artist Ardan 脰zmeno臒lu and Vienna-based Alea Pinar Du Pre deconstruct media, language, and culture through vibrant layers of text and texture. Alex Voinea, known for his explosive color fields and fluid motion, injects visual velocity into the space, while Belgian photographer Didier Engels captures the meditative decay of maritime industry. Kevin Kelly and Lina Condes push visual boundaries through pop abstraction and techno-organic sculpture, respectively. Figurative works by TMU, Thannyo, Lis Sam, and Mercedes explore surreal states, identity, and psychological intensity.
Together, these artists form a collective voice that speaks to the raw pulse of the city鈥攁n exhibition charged with movement, memory, and momentum.
