The internationally renowned artists Daniel (*1966) and Geo Fuchs (*1969) repeatedly photograph and stage collections and archives in their groups of works. In the series TOYGIANTS, they work with figures from the Selim Varol collection, which, starting from their origins in toys, have long since developed into collectors鈥� objects for adults.
In an open limbo between mass phenomenon and individuality, the photographed TOYGIANTS reveal which role models longings and models of success have found their way into our collective memory worldwide.
