Davidson Galleries presents The Usual Suspects, 16 new oil paintings by Seattle artist Francesca Sundsten. 鈥淭hey play with the idea of portraiture while not being constrained by the duty of replication. These subjects can look more or less anyway I push them to look, as they鈥檙e all icons of the imagination. My goal in this group of paintings was to find and define particular and individual worlds for a chosen cast of characters.鈥� Sundsten has exhibited with Davidson since 1992.
