The new collection presentation offers new insights, unusual perspectives and inspiring encounters. Magnificent landscapes by Paul C茅zanne, Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin and Ferdinand Hodler join important still lifes by Pablo Picasso, Fernand L茅ger and Roy Lichtenstein. This pairing, on view for the first time, is complemented by an encounter of large-format compositions by Balthus and Neo Rauch, the juxtaposition of Claude Monet's water lily triptych with paintings by the Abstract Expressionists Jackson Pollock and Joan Mitchell, and Georg Baselitz鈥檚 tribute "From Tbilisi to Paris, and Back" to Niko Pirosmani, among others.
