Lauren Marie Taylor: Time Machine

07 Sep, 2018 - 21 Oct, 2018
Exploring the intersections of astronomy, mining, and human rights after the fall of the first democratically elected socialist state in the Americas, Time Machine places historic events in a future sci-fi environment in order to interrogate our present moment. The work in Time Machine includes photography, drawing, sculpture, video, and virtual reality, combined in dramatic installation to engage audiences in the deliberate manipulation of time and space.
