Maximilian R枚del's pictorial worlds and titles evoke an oscillation between atmospheric, geological, temporal, metaphorical, allegorical, non-referential, and omnireferential spheres. His second solo exhibition at Galerie R眉diger Sch枚ttle 鈥撯淏ridges鈥 鈥 opens up a metaphysical dimension, almost resembling a search for an all-encompassing, all-pervading truth. Formally, this new cycle of works explores bridge-like motifs; conceptually, the paintings can be understood as symbolically charged, unconsciously coded resonance chambers, condensations of different worlds and mental states that store light and frequency and unfold them with the recipients, equating to a physical process of energy storage and transmission by means of a carrier medium.
